Paul Yebernetsky

Paul Yebernetsky, 76 of Flinton, PA died on July 16, 2008 at 1:27 p.m. in Osceola Mills. Born in Morann, PA on May 16, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Hyrscta) Yebernetsky.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in the Korean War.

He was employed as a Diesel Mechanic for Vineland Transit Mix, Vineland, NJ., for 35 years and retired in 1995.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Philadelphia Local. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He played for the Houtzdale American Legion Jr. Baseball Team and was an exceptional pitcher. They took the 1949 State Championship. He loved being a husband, father and grandfather to his family.

Mr. Yebernetsky is survived by his wife, the former Nancy A. Simpson, of Flinton, whom he wed on August 31, 1957 in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, PA

He is survived by a son, Paul A. Yebernetsky and his wife, Denethia of Cypress, TX; and two grandsons, Avery and Conlan Yebernetsky both of Cypress, TX.



He is also survived by three sisters: Anne Lieber of Carteret, NJ., Eve Demitroff of Vineland, NJ., and Susan Cooper of Hillsbough, CA.

Mr. Yebernetsky is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Kathryn Tatanish, Mary Bezilla and Clara Samosky and five brothers, George, Pete, Metro, Mike and John.



Friends will be received at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey on Friday, July 18 from 7-9 PM and on Saturday, July 19 from 9-11 AM.

Panikhida service will be held at Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, July 19th, with Very Rev. Canon Fr. James E. Poorman officiating. Interment services will be held at the Burket Cemetery in Warriors Mark, PA.
