Shirley E. (Stewart) Zazworsky


Shirley E. (Stewart) Zazworsky, 75, of Smithmill, PA passed away at 12:10 PM on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, PA.

She was born on January 13, 1935 in Smithmill, PA the daughter of the late Merle and Emmabelle (Brady) Stewart.

On January 12, 1952 in the Ramey United Methodist Parsonage, she wed Joseph Zazworsky. Together they owned and operated Zazworsky Greenhouse, Smithmill, serving the community for 53 years. Mrs. Zazworsky was also a homemaker and a member of Janesville United Methodist Church, Smithmill.

She is survived by a son and daughter, Mark S. Zazworsky and his wife, Kathleen of Fernwood, and Melinda S. Beers and her husband Timothy of Smithmill.



Also surviving are five grandchildren Dustin and Katelyn Zazworksy and Kevin, Shannon and Nathaniel Beers.

Mrs. Zazworksy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph who died on September 26, 2009 and two brothers, Robert A. and James D. Stewart.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-9 PM and on Thursday from 9 -11 AM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Rame.y

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 11:00 AM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey, with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating.
