Darlene Kay (Ralston) Vereshack



Darlene Kay (Ralston) Vereshack, 64, of Smoke Run, passed away at 7:17 AM, Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1946 in Parsonville, a daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Stone) Ralston.

Darlene was a 1964 graduate of the Philipsburg - Osceola High School and was faithful parishioner of the Smoke Run United Methodist Church.

On May 7, 1966 in Janesville, she married Martin J. Vereshack, who survives of Smoke Run.

Darlene is survived by two children; David W. Vereshack and his wife Tina and Vicki J. Zendek and her husband Michael Zendek Sr. all of Smoke Run.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Nicole Vereshack, Todd Vereshack, Michael Zendek, Jr, Racheal Vereshack and Jocelyn Vereshack and a great grandson, Devon Patterson.

Darlene is survived by following siblings; Wilfred Gene Ralston and his wife Betsy of Parsonville, Loretta Krause and her husband, Rev. W. Dean Krause of Philipsburg, Lois Pullen of Florence, NJ, Millie Dean and her husband Larry of New Cumberland, her twin sister, Arlene Vereshack and her husband Victor of Springdale, and Bonnie Ralston of Philipsburg. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a great grandson, Gabriel; a sister, Carol Hardt; infant brother, Robert and a brother, Thurman. She also was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose and Victor Vereshack.

Darlene was a terrific wife, mother and grandmother.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Tuesday, May 10 from 9- 11 AM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 11:00 AM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc Ramey with Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hegarty's Crossroad Cemetery, Beccaria Twp.
