Robert Matchock, 79, of Ramey, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home.
Born on June 2, 1937 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Lutz) Matchock.
On September 29, 1962 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Robert married Beverly J. Shimmel, who preceded him in death in 2012
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, a 1955 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School, and he worked as an equipment operator for PennDot.
He will be deeply missed by his sons, Ronald A. Matchock, and his wife Nancy, and Robert L. Matchock; a brother, John Matchock; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Matchock.
Friends will be received at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc, Ramey on Tuesday from 5-8 PM and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, with Rev Zab Amar as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey.
