Obituary for Albert Nick Kokosko
Albert Nick Kokosko, 86, of Ramey, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at Ridgeview Eldercare in Curwensville.
Born on December 6, 1929 in Ginter, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Nicklos) Kokosko.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey. He loved farming and was an avid hunter.
He worked for years as a heavy equipment operator for Glenn O Hawbaker and HRI in State College.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Brown) Kokosko; two daughters, Cecelia Gormont, and her husband Tim, Sr., of Clearfield, Kristine Kokosko of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Jonathan Gormont, Cassandra Miller, and Timothy Gormont, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Sienna, and Shilo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Paul, and Edward Kokosko, and three sisters, Mildred Kokosko, Katherine Kushner, and Ann Nemish.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday in Holy Trintiy Catholic Church, Ramey with Fr. Zab Amar officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
