Pauline L. Giza-Murawski, 94, of Morann, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 25, 1921 in Chesterfield, PA to John and Suzanna (Palcisko) Kozak.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Houtzdale, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America- St. Victoria Court #646.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Giza, second husband, Steve Murawski, daughter, Linda Siano, infant son Jerry, grandson, Robert “Rob” Siano, three sisters, Judy Bungo, Mary Ann Bucher, and Margaret Kozak, four brothers, George, Andy, Steve, and Thomas Kozak.

She will be deeply missed by her two daughers, Carol Menard of Clearfield, and Peggy Slifko of Morann, one brother, Leonard Kozak of Parma, OH, five grandchildren, Jerry(Sherry) Switala, Chris Switala, Cindy Slifko-Moore, Terry (Jessica) Slifko, Tim Slifko, five great-grandchildren, Elyse, Emily, Tessa, Elizabeth, and Joshua, one great-great granddaughter, Maive, and a son-in-law, Peter Siano.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, and Thursday from 9-10:15 AM in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Catholic Daughters of America will recite the rosary Wednesday at 3:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Rev. Marc J. Solomon as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ramey.
