Robert E. "Buzz" Arnold, Sr


Robert E. "Buzz" Arnold, Sr, 72, of Madera, passed away at 8:31 PM Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on Dec. 15, 1941, in Niagara Falls, NY a son of the late Thomas W. and Dorothy M. (Taylor) Arnold.

Robert retired as a tractor trailer and log truck driver. He enjoyed playing pool and cards.

On Sept. 21, 1963, at Niagara Falls, NY, he married Helen L. (Quade) Aronld, who preceded him in death on Feb. 26, 2011.

Robert is survived by two daughters and 4 sons, Jennie E. Ball (Otto) of Olanta, Sandra L. Clark (Dennis) of Houtzdale, Jeffrey W. Arnold, Sr (Rose) of Madera, Shawn P. Arnold (Judith) of Frenchville, Donald W. "Lumpy" Arnold (Lynnie) of Houtzdale, Brian M. Arnold of Madera and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Arnold of Clearfield

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

A sister and a brother survive; Clara Shimmel of Clearfield and John G. Arnold (Donna) of Venus, FL

In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by a son Robert E. "Beatle" Arnold, Jr on March 21, 2002 and a grandson, Andrew T. Arnold on March 11, 1986.

Friends will be received on Sunday, May 11 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc, Madera.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 PM in the Kruise Funeral Home, inc with Robert's son-in-law, Otto Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
