Dorothy F. (Phillip) Tokarcik, 95, of Morann passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 at 10:21 PM at Christ The King Manor, DuBois .

Dorothy was born on April 14, 1919 in Morann, a daughter of the late Stephen J. and Mary R. (Chuchta) Phillip.

She was a life long parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which is now Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, where she belongs to the Rosary Altar Society. She loved her catholic faith and praying the Rosary. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. Dorothy was a 1936 graduate of the former Woodward Twp. High School and was a homemaker.

She married John R. Tokarcik at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in June of 1937, he preceded her in death on July 13, 1985.

Dorothy is survived by four daughters, Donna M. Petrunyack (James) of Ramey; Patricia A. Tokarcik and E. Judy Tokarcik-Hair both of Morann; and Pamela S. Zeigler (Joseph) of Houtzdale.



She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Teri Petrunyack, James "Rick" Petrunyack, Jo Marie Lysko (Scott), Kara Lee Mantinaos (Frank), Kevin Hair (Sarah), Randee Zeigler-Anderson, and John Paul Zeigler (Miranda). 11 great grandchildren, Dr. Erika Mullen, Jordan, Alex and Tyler Lysko, Dino and Eleni Mantinaos, Hannah, Joshua and Lucie Hair, Hayden Anderson and Sophie Jane Zeigler.

Dorothy is survived by a sister, Cynthia Condon of Clearfield and a brother, Patrick Phillip (Dolores) of Southgate, MI.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Andrew, John and Leonard Phillip and a sister, Suzanne Stoffan.

Friends will be received on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Monday, Sept. 22 from 9 -10:15 AM at the Kruise Funeral Home, inc., Ramey. A Vigil service will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday in the funeral home with Fr. Marc J. Solomon officiating.



Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 22 at 11:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale with Fr. Marc J. Solomon as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Brisbin.
